Simple Upstyle in Five Easy Steps
THIS up-style only takes two minutes to do but it is guaranteed to get you compliments. My daughter was kind enough to be my model for this, meaning there was no hairspray used, so yours will have a lot more volume!
For your simple upstyle in just five steps follow the simple steps below. What you’ll need; bobby pins, back combing brush, hairspray and five minutes to spare.
Start by sectioning off the hair. Divide it into two sections. One at the top, and one at the bottom. The one at the bottom should be larger than the top as this is the section that will be used to create volume. Tie the bottom section in a bun.
Using the bobby pins secure the bun in place. You want to secure it so the bun is pressed forward, this will offer more volume to the finished piece.
Now you can begin to backcomb the top section of hair. Grab small sections hairspray and backcomb. After the complete section is backcombed, pull the middle piece above your forehead back to cover the bun. Secure in place under the bun.
Once the middle is complete and secure, it’s time to focus on the sides. You can draw these two sections back and secure in place, leaving the stray hair out. These will offer some hair for a design at the back if desired .i.e. bun/plait. If you do not want a design just tuck the hair beneath the bun as you did in Step Three.
Final step! For this you can use the stray hairs to create a small bun/plait at the back of your up-style. A little bit of hairspray and you’re good to go!
